The successful candidate will specialize in the evaluation and surgical management of hip and knee conditions, with a focus on primary total joint arthroplasty, lower extremity reconstructive surgery, and comprehensive musculoskeletal care.This role is ideal for a surgeon who is committed to clinical excellence, patient-centered care, quality outcomes, and the continued growth of Riverside’s orthopedic service line.Key Responsibilities and InformationProvide high-quality orthopedic care for adult patients with degenerative, traumatic, and complex conditions of the hip and knee.Perform primary and possibly revision total hip and total knee arthroplasty.Manage complex lower extremity reconstruction, including cases involving failed implants, instability, infection, deformity, and periprosthetic fracture.Collaborate with orthopedic subspecialists, hospital-based teams, advanced practice providers, rehabilitation services, and the broader Riverside provider network.Participate in multidisciplinary care coordination to support excellent surgical outcomes and continuity of care.Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, clinical program development, education, and strategic growth of the total joint service line.Support outpatient and inpatient orthopedic care needs as appropriate, with opportunities to align practice structure with service line priorities.Work within a collaborative orthopedic environment that values safety, quality, collegiality, and evidence-based care.QualificationsBoard-eligible or board-certified in Orthopedic Surgery.Fellowship training in Adult Reconstruction, Total Joint Arthroplasty, or a closely related lower extremity reconstructive subspecialty strongly preferred.Demonstrated expertise in primary and revision hip and knee arthroplasty.Experience with complex lower extremity reconstruction preferred.Commitment to quality outcomes, patient experience, and multidisciplinary care.Eligible for medical licensure in Virginia.RIVERSIDE BENEFITS: Excellent benefits package501(c)(3) organizationSign-on bonusRelocation expensesAnnual CME allowance401k, 403...
