What You'll Do: Draft, comment, negotiate, prepare, and administer various commercial contracts, with a focus on brand license agreements. Create resources, playbooks, document standard procedures, and develop policies. Prepare, present, and create internal presentations. Respond to various legal inquiries from company departments, subsidiaries and affiliates. Review and collaborate with internal stakeholders on marketing and promotional materials to ensure compliance with company policies and applicable legal requirements on content clearance, messaging, and disclosures. Provide overflow coverage involving services agreements, SaaS, software license agreements, non-disclosure agreements, and Provide exceptional, responsive, and pragmatic support in response to escalations from clients regarding status and contract request process. What You'll Bring: College degree or equivalent. Minimum of 5 years of direct experience supporting legal functions, interacting with clients in revenue generating businesses – bonus if that business is video games related. Contract drafting, transactional, and negotiation experience with rights licensing language, royalty structures, and minimum guarantee mechanics. Solid foundation in copyright and trademark law, complimented with working knowledge of the multiple legal areas involved in creative and technology space. Strong aptitude for technology adoption, including AI for operational efficiencies, workflow management platforms, and embracing process improvement. Takes initiative to improve and streamline processes, managing repetitive requests into process. Strong written and verbal communication skills, and prior experience directly engaging with engineering, marketing, production, finance, royalties, business and legal teams.
