A professional family in Alamo, CA (San Francisco Bay Area) is seeking an experienced academic tutor or elementary school teacher for part-time, 1:1 instruction with their 9-year-old son entering 4th grade. This is a placed position through Hello Nanny's Concierge service — meaning full recruiter support, mutual vetting, and ongoing placement assistance.
Schedule: Monday – Thursday | 3:30 PM – 6:30 PM
Guaranteed hours: 12 hours per week
Pay rate: $38–$45 per hour (W-2, legally paid)
Start date: ASAP
Bilingual Spanish: Additional hours available for bilingual candidates

About This Academic Tutoring Role
This is a pure academic instruction role — no childcare, transportation, or household duties. You'll provide structured 1:1 tutoring sessions focused on 4th grade math, writing, and executive function skills. The family is looking for an educator who designs the learning experience, not someone who supervises homework completion.
This position is an ideal fit for:
A current or former elementary school teacher (K–5) seeking part-time afternoon hours
An education degree candidate with classroom or fieldwork experience
An educator or nanny currently working mornings with another family who wants consistent afternoon income
The Monday–Thursday afternoon schedule leaves mornings and Fridays fully open. Twelve guaranteed hours per week provides reliable, predictable income.
