Part-Time Art Therapist Help Clients Heal Through Creative Expression Pyramid Healthcare has a long history of providing high-quality outpatient behavioral healthcare throughout South Central Pennsylvania. Through individualized treatment plans, we support adolescents and adults experiencing mental health, substance use, and eating disorders. We are seeking a compassionate and creative Part-Time Art Therapist to join our team. If you are passionate about using art as a therapeutic tool to foster healing and personal growth, we encourage you to apply. Location: In-person services at our York and Harrisburg outpatient locations Schedule: Approximately 10 hours per week Compensation: $35–$45 per hour Job Responsibilities Plan and facilitate individual and group art therapy sessions for adolescent and adult clients. Utilize art therapy techniques to encourage self-expression, emotional processing, and therapeutic progress. Prepare art materials and therapeutic activities aligned with treatment goals. Collaborate with interdisciplinary treatment teams to provide coordinated client care. Assess clients' behavioral, emotional, and therapeutic needs through art therapy interventions. Complete documentation within required timeframes in accordance with clinical and regulatory standards. Maintain flexibility to provide coverage based on program needs. Attend required trainings, staff meetings, supervision, and clinical consultations. Maintain a safe, supportive, and therapeutic environment, including assisting with crisis intervention when needed. Maintain professional and ethical boundaries with clients. Travel between York and Harrisburg locations as needed. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Master's degree in Art Therapy or a related behavioral health field required. Board Certified Art Therapist (ATR-BC) preferred; candidates actively pursuing board certification will also be considered. LPC or LCSW preferred, but not required. Experience providing individual and group therapy in a behavioral health setting preferred. Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary treatment team.
