Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others. This position works a variable schedule including evenings and weekends.Essential Duties:Staff library service desks, opening and closing library spaces as assignedGreets patrons, helping and directing them to requested service points within the facility and to other departments within the CollegeAccess borrower records to check library materials in and out, renew items, and update account information as neededShelves library materials and preserves the physical appearance and order of collections through shelving, shelf reading, and shiftingGuides patrons in using computers, copiers, equipment, and printersCollects and logs library charges when appropriate, making change for cash transactionsInspects items for damage and notifies a supervisor if neededEnsures users receive excellent customer serviceMaintains confidentiality of user informationContributes to work in other library functional areas as neededAdditional duties may be assigned as necessary to support the goals and objectives of the department and collegeRate of Pay: $14.00 per HourPosition Averages 19 hours per week during normal operating hoursCompleted applications received by 7/27/2026 will be assured full consideration.
