This role is responsible for managing front-desk activities, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance information, maintaining patient records, and supporting clinical and administrative staff.Key ResponsibilitiesPatient Reception & Customer ServiceGreet patients, visitors, and vendors in a professional and courteous manner.Answer and direct incoming phone calls promptly.Assist patients with check-in and check-out procedures.Address patient inquiries and resolve concerns while maintaining confidentiality.Provide information regarding office policies, procedures, and services.Appointment SchedulingSend appointment reminders and follow up on missed appointments.Maintain accurate appointment records within the electronic medical record (EMR) system.Administrative DutiesVerify patient demographics and update records as needed.Collect copayments, deductibles, and outstanding balances.Verify insurance eligibility and obtain required authorizations.Process referrals, forms, and medical records requests.Maintain filing systems and ensure accurate documentation.Office SupportAssist providers and clinical staff with administrative tasks.Order and maintain office supplies as needed.Support workflow efficiency and contribute to a positive patient experience.QualificationsRequiredHigh school diploma or equivalent.Minimum of 1 year of customer service, reception, or administrative experience.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and basic computer applications.Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.PreferredPrevious experience in a medical office, clinic, or healthcare environment.Knowled...
