Position Summary
As a Pharmacy Technician I, Non-Sterile Compounding, you'll play a vital role in the preparation, quality control, and dispensing of custom compounded medications. Key Responsibilities
Prepares non-sterile compounded medications accurately and efficiently, following standard operating procedures and regulatory guidelines
Maintains inventory of compounding supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels and proper storage
Collaborates with pharmacists to review prescriptions, ensuring appropriateness for compounding and verifying accuracy of information
Performs calculations to determine the correct quantities of ingredients required for compounding medications
Maintains a clean and organized compounding area, adhering to sterile and aseptic techniques
