As a provider with Riverside Health Medical Group, you would join a team of providers who are respected leaders and part of our collaborative care delivery team.  Our providers care for our patients as if they are those they love.  Our core values are built into our provider compact that outlines our dedication to our patients as our first priority.  Our providers encourage patient involvement, embrace change, and take ownership in the success of the team and the organization.  If that resonates with you, we would like to speak to you.Hiring Range: $420,000.00 – $545,000.00Actual pay depends on specialty, experience, and performanceRiverside Medical Group is currently seeking a Full-Time Pulmonary Physician to join our team at Pulmonology Specialists on the Eastern Shore of Virginia.The selected physician will provide comprehensive pulmonary care, including evaluation, diagnosis, and management of acute and chronic respiratory conditions in both inpatient and outpatient settings.Responsibilities· Provide high-quality, evidence-based care for patients with pulmonary diseases such as COPD, asthma, interstitial lung disease, and respiratory infections· Perform and interpret diagnostic procedures (e.g., pulmonary function tests, bronchoscopy, imaging studies)· Manage inpatient pulmonary consultations and coordinate care with hospitalists and critical care teams as needed· Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with complex respiratory conditions· Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including primary care, cardiology, oncology, and respiratory therapy· Educate patients and families on disease management, prevention, and treatment plans· Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to organizational clinical protocols and standards· Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record systemRequired Qualifications· Doctor of Medicine (Doctor of Medicine) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine)· Completion of an accredited residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Pulmonary Medicine (Pulmonary/Critical Care preferred)· Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pulmonary Medicine (and Critical Care Medicine, if applicable)· Active and unrestricted license to practice medicine in Virginia· Current DEA registrationLicensure & Regulatory RequirementsEligible for Virginia licensure at time of hireDEA registration (or ability to obtain prior to start date)BLS certification required; ACLS preferred based on practice settingHighlightsFull Time OpportunitiesCompetitive base pay with incentive bonusesValue Based Performance IncentiveSign on Bonus EligibleLoan Repayment Eligible (Riverside Health is a 501(c)3 non-profit)Comprehensive Health Benefits and Retirement PackagePhysician Time OffMalpractice CoverageCME AllowancePlease note: Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
