GLAD Manufacturing Company is seeking applicants for the position of Senior Engineer at the Amherst, Virginia plant. The qualified individual will be a hands-on plant engineer focusing on the technical support to operations as well as leading multiple projects, including capital upgrades and commercialization projects. They will plan and execute projects as well as participate on teams as a technical resource.In this role, you will:Lead and manage capital projects from inception through feasibility, business justification, detailed engineering, equipment selection, installation, and commissioning to achieve a successful vertical start-up.Drive equipment and systems efficiency improvements, cost savings, and upgrades to enhance operational performance.Provide both day-to-day and long-term technical support to Operations and Maintenance teams, identifying and addressing process maintenance and continuous improvement opportunities.Act as a key technical resource for maintenance and production staff, offering problem-solving expertise and driving the implementation of effective solutions.What we look for:2+ years of related experience, with at least 3 years in manufacturing or plant engineering.Proven track record of managing the planning, analysis, approval, and execution of capital projects, with responsibilities spanning cost management, scheduling, quality control, start-up/commissioning, and training elements.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, SAP, AutoCAD, Autodesk InventorStrong interpersonal and teamwork skills, with the ability to function effectively as both a team member and leader.Strong technical expertise, coupled with the ability to think conceptually and systematically to address complex engineering challenges.No Visa or sponsorships will be considered Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.#LI-OnsiteWorkplace type:OnsiteOur values-based culture connects to our purpose and empowers people ...
