LA28 is the independent, non-profit, privately funded organizing committee for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Position Summary  The Portfolio Lead – Deliver is part of the Planning and Programs Team reporting into head of the Program Management Office. This role is responsible for working closely with leaders from the Deliver portfolio like Sport, Venue Infrastructure, Event Management, Logistics, City Operations and more to ensure integrated planning and detailed understanding of the status of projects and programs. They will manage a team of Program integrators responsible for each functional area’s schedule, adherence to standards, risk management, and dependency management. They will act as the project manager for highly visible cross-functional projects that are impactful to their portfolio.   Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external teams is essential to providing strong oversight, portfolio management, assurance, and governance in this position. This is a highly collaborative role and is best for someone who enjoys working with a team to make sense of complex and sometimes contradictory information to solve problems and bring people together toward a common goal.   The ideal candidate will have experience interfacing with senior leaders and executives in a fast-paced dynamic environment. They will have overseen large portfolios of projects end to end and have a combination of hard project management skills and excellent interpersonal skills.
