Job Description SummaryThe Post-Trade Services & Risk Associate monitors, manages & prevents risks within the clearing house & financial system. The incumbent provides positive input & direction to specific projects partially owned by the Clearing House & the Risk team. He/She manages risks through tolerance analysis, margin analysis & customer/product specific analysis. They work to prevent risk through communication between the Clearing House Risk Team Senior Management & Sr. Management staff.Principle Accountabilities:Monitor daily clearing and settlement processes to ensure timely completion of clearing end of day cycleResponsible for Regulatory reporting of trades per Part 43/45 of DCO reporting regulations.Customer query support in APAC time zone for Post-Trade Services related questions.Perform risk management and monitoring of various system to ensure that all clearing members are meeting their margin requirements.Identify and escalate potential operational risk to managementDevelop and maintain relationships with clearing members and other stakeholders.Work closely with other departments including trade operation, risk management and technology to ensure that all the processes are functioning efficiently and effectivelyParticipate in testing / DR testing and implementation of new system and processes related to clearing operationsPrepare and maintain documentation/SOP of clearing processesProvide support to other areas of clearing house as neededSkills and Qualification:Bachelor/Master’s degree in business, finance or in equivalent field4 - 7 years of experience in operation preferably in a clearing or settlement environment  Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong attention to detail and ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environmentExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsKnowledge of derivatives markets and financial instruments preferredAbility to work independently and as part of a teamKnowledge of Python, Tableau, R, VBA is a plusShift Timing: 5:00 AM to 2:00 PM IST (Tuesday to Saturday) , Subject to daylight saving adjustment.CME Group: Where Futures are MadeCME Group is the world’s leading derivatives marketplace.
