Working at Boskalis is about creating new horizons and sustainable solutions. In a world where population growth, an increase of global trade, demand for offshore energy and climate change are driving forces, we challenge you to make your mark in finding innovative and relevant solutions for complex infrastructural and marine projects.

Are you looking for a student job where your code is used on real offshore and dredging projects?

At Boskalis, engineers use Event Symphony, our in-house logistics simulation platform, to support decision-making during tenders and projects. Event Symphony enables engineers to evaluate work methods, fleet configurations, weather impacts, production risks, and operational bottlenecks before equipment is mobilized offshore.

By simulating complex logistics operations, engineers can compare alternatives, quantify risks, and make better-informed decisions for projects worth millions of euros. Event Symphony is actively used across Boskalis to support tenders, project planning, and innovation initiatives.

As a Simulation Software Engineer Intern, you will become part of the team developing and maintaining Event Symphony. You will work on real feature requests, usability improvements, and bug fixes that help engineers and simulation specialists use the platform more effectively. You will collaborate directly with simulation engineers, software developers, and AI specialists while gaining hands-on experience with software engineering, simulation technology, and maritime operations.

Your responsibilities as AI Solutions Engineer Intern
