Summary Responsible for performing inspections and tests of Computational assemblies, subassemblies, cables, circuit cards, machined parts, optics, coatings/finishes and other materials to ensure compliance to drawings, schematics, and specification requirements. Reviews first article reports, performance data, test results and material certifications for compliance. This position requires a willingness to consistently apply mechanical, optical & electrical Inspection concepts.Reads and interprets blueprints, technical drawings, and product specifications.  Understands measurement precision, measurement accuracy & measurement uncertainty.  Experienced using standard measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, & height gages.  Experienced in interpreting Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing.  Identifies and reports nonconforming materials.  Understands and applies calibration intervals to inspection tools and equipment.  Understands disposition methods including rework/repair, re-inspect, scrap, and customer waiver, as determined by a Material Review Board (MRB) or other authority.  Supports internal manufacturing and external source inspection of products.  Famili...
