We are seeking a Procurement Engineer, MEP and Civil to support hyperscale data center construction projects in a PMC / owner’s representative capacity. This role is responsible for procurement coordination at the building level, with a focus on MEP equipment packages, submittal tracking, shop drawing approval cycles, delivery sequencing, and procurement system management. The successful candidate will independently manage assigned building-level procurement scope, monitor approval timelines, coordinate delivery requirements, and proactively identify risks that could delay manufacturing starts or impact construction sequencing. RESPONSIBILITIES Maintain dedicated building-level procurement accountability for one assigned data center building with no cross-building responsibilities. Procurement records, approval logs, and delivery trackers are maintained independently per building. Manage procurement coordination for assigned building-level scopes. Track MEP equipment package status within the procurement management system. Monitor submittals, shop drawings, approvals, and required action timelines. Coordinate delivery sequencing for MEP equipment packages. Identify and escalate approval delays that could impact manufacturing start dates. Track procurement milestones against project schedule requirements. Maintain accurate and up-to-date procurement records in designated systems. Coordinate with project teams, vendors, contractors, and client stakeholders. Review procurement data to identify gaps, delays, and required actions. Escalate risks affecting delivery, installation, or construction sequencing. Support procurement reporting, lookaheads, and status updates. Follow up with stakeholders to close outstanding procurement actions. Coordinate with construction and project controls teams to align procurement activities. Maintain clear documentation for assigned packages and building-level scope. Support the resolution of procurement issues impacting field execution. QUALIFICATIONS Required qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Supply Chain, or related field. 7+ years of procurement, construction, or project coordination experience on large capital construction projects.
