About the Role: As a Production Operator, you'll play a key role in keeping our packaging operations running safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards. You'll operate and maintain production equipment, troubleshoot issues, drive continuous improvement and ensure every product meets our quality expectations. Working as part of a collaborative shift team, you'll help deliver strong performance across safety, quality, service and productivity while contributing to our Manufacturing Excellence journey. Role Responsibilities: Operate, monitor and adjust packaging equipment to deliver safe, efficient and high-quality production. Perform autonomous maintenance, changeovers, inspections and basic troubleshooting to maximise equipment performance. Conduct quality checks and ensure products meet food safety, GMP and quality standards. Identify production issues, participate in root cause analysis and support continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, DMAIC and problem-solving tools.Maintain accurate production records, complete shift handovers and update operational systems and visual management boards. Promote a safe, clean and organised workplace by following HSE, 5S and Manufacturing Excellence standards. Collaborate with operators, trades, quality and production teams to achieve shift targets and continuously improve performance. Experience / Skills Required: Experience working in a manufacturing, FMCG, food, beverage or other production environment. Confidence operating production or packaging equipment, with an understanding of machine setup, changeovers and basic maintenance.
