Production Operator

A Day in Your Life at ATOTECH:As a Production Operator at MKS Atotech Malaysia, you be responsible to maintain a safe working environment with awareness and knowledge of site EHS standards and ensure compliance with EHS regulations. Work in safe manner.In this role, you will report to the Production superior / engineer and work closely with them to achieve departmental output and target.You Will Make an Impact By:To check and ensure the right type and correctly weighted of raw materials are used for manufacturing.To ensure the safety practices are complied with an accordance with work instruction and procedures on manufacturing machines. Is responsible for his own safety behavior and is expected to report occurrence or equipment defects that could present a hazard.To inform the forklift driver to take in raw materials and packing material to meet the process needs.To assist in charging raw materials, cleaning of equipment and any maintenance work.To evaluate and decide on action to prevent product or process non-conformances.To report all breakdown, accident, mishap, injury and any non-conforming product to the superior.To collect, label and submit sample to Quality Control Lab in accordance with the work instruction.To set a good example in punctuality and good housekeepingTo train / assist the new recruit to do their work or for greater responsibility.To maintain and take good care of tools, requirement, machines, and company property.To strive for higher productivity by minimize spillage, rework, undue delay and produce of non-conforming finished goods.Any other duties as assigned by the superior. HSE Responsibilities: Safety remains the number 1 priority by making it an integral part in all activities. Employees must review their work areas to identify hazards and assess risks and opportunities. Any hazards or injuries must be reported to your immediate superior. The employee must comply with the HSEQS policy and other related regulations.Participate in HSE promotional activities such as risk assessment and suggestions scheme and near miss reporting.Skills You Bring:Passed SPM or equivalent qualification.Keen to learn computer interface equipment and able to understand basic English.Good teamwork and communication skills.Able to follow procedures, instructions and guidance from management.Able to pick-up fast on understanding production procedures.Working experience in manufacturing or industrial setting.Available to work on shifts, weekends, standby on-call and overtime if necessary.#LI-DNIGlobally, our policy is to recruit individuals from wide and diverse backgrounds.
