At Badger Meter, your contributions will ripple far beyond the workplace - creating lasting change for people and the planet.What You Will Contribute: Production SupervisorThe Production Supervisor leads hourly manufacturing employees and oversees daily production operations to ensure safety, quality, productivity, and delivery goals are achieved. This role provides hands-on leadership, coaching, and support while driving operational excellence and continuous improvement across multiple manufacturing departments.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise and coach hourly manufacturing employees to maximize productivity, quality, and safety.Communicate production goals, expectations, and operational updates to employees and leadership.Monitor daily operations, staffing, equipment utilization, and workflow to ensure production schedules are met.Analyze operational metrics and implement solutions to improve efficiency and performance.Utilize manufacturing systems for production scheduling, materials management, and reporting.Identify and resolve production issues involving materials, equipment, quality, and processes.Support Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and labor agreements.Conduct performance evaluations, manage attendance, and support employee development and training.Promote a safe, organized, and team-oriented work environment.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Operations, or a related field preferred.5+ years of manufacturing or operations experience.Previous supervisory, lead, or team leadership experience preferred.Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict-resolution skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Familiarity with MSDS/SDS requirements.CPR and First Aid certification, or ability to obtain certification.Intermediate Microsoft Office skills preferred.What We're Looking ForA hands-on leader who thrives on the manufa...
