Upon completion of training, you will be eligible to secure your permanent bid job by seniority. Common job responsibilities include:Operate automated and semi-automated production machines to manufacture automotive batteriesMake minor adjustments, diagnose equipment issues, and perform operator-level preventive maintenanceConduct visual inspections and required quality checksKeep accurate records of production and defectsMaintain a safe, clean work environment and follow all safety protocolsQualifications1+ year of manufacturing or machine operating experience preferredComfortable working 8-hour or 12-hour shifts, including overtime and weekends as neededAbility to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environmentAbility to stand, walk, bend and twist for extended periodsBasic computer, math, reading, and writing skillsMust be able to wear required PPEAbout the PlantThe Toledo, Ohio facility has been in operation since 1981 and is the largest Clarios manufacturing plant, employing more than 700 team members.
