Production Technician - Based in Malta

Applications are only being considered from candidates who are willing and able to relocate to Malta for this opportunity. We are looking for a Production Technician to be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and continuous support of production equipment to ensure efficient manufacturing processes, product quality, and compliance with safety and regulatory requirements. The role also contributes to process improvements and supports engineering initiatives while maintaining a safe and compliant working environment.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out maintenance activities on assigned equipment, including both corrective (breakdown) and preventive maintenance, in accordance with Baxter Procedures.Support the Engineering team in the installation, validation, and implementation of new processes and process improvements initiatives.Ensure full compliance with all Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) procedures, policies, standards, and equipment requirements, including process-specific safety protocols.Operate and monitor production equipment to ensure optimal performance, product quality, and adherence to production schedules.Maintain accurate maintenance and production records, through the digital system, reporting equipment issues and improvement opportunities as required.Promote and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in line with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and company standards.QualificationsFully qualified at MQF Level 4 of an Electrical/Mechanical Qualification.Wireman license A and/or B would be considered an assetProven work experience as a production technician or similar roleExperience with industrial manufacturing equipmentUnderstanding of safety regulations and proceduresGood physical conditionTechnical knowledge and ability to read blueprints, manuals, and drawingsExcellent troubleshooting skillsAttention to detail and accuracy in workWe understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career.
