While product manufacturing is outsourced to trusted third-party contract manufacturing partners, Mitel retains full responsibility for the development, deployment, and continuous improvement of production test systems that ensure product quality and manufacturing efficiencyPlease note this role requires Global travel.The successful candidate must be willing to accommodate business travel between 30-40% per year.Responsibilities:Lead and support a team of Production Test Engineers, with strong hands-on involvement in technical activitiesDesign, develop, deploy, and maintain automated production test systems for hardware productsTake ownership of production test solutions (FCT, End-of-Line) across manufacturing environmentsWork closely with contract manufacturers to deploy, debug, and optimize test systems on production linesSupport new product introduction by defining and implementing test strategies and ensuring test readinessPerform and lead root-cause analysis for production test failures and drive corrective actionsImprove test coverage, yield, and efficiency through continuous improvement initiativesContribute directly to test application development and sustaining activitiesEnsure proper documentation, version control, and maintainability of test solutionsRequirements:7+ years of experience in production test development or manufacturing test engineeringProven hands-on experience with:LabVIEWTestStandExperience with:FCT (Functional Test)End-of-Line testing systemsUnderstanding about ICT (In-Circuit Test), AOI (Optical inspection)Strong experience in electronics manufacturing environmentsExperience in:developing or owning production test systemstest fixture design and test equipment integration into MES/shop floor systemsPractical experience with:debugging hardware issues (PCBA level is a plus)understanding electronics HW enough for PCBA level debuggingfailure analysis and yield improvementExperience supporting:NPI (New Product Introduction) and production ramp-upAbility to work directly with manufacturing partners / contract manufacturerLeadership & Soft RequirementsExperience...
