Licenses/certifications: None Supervises: Program Supervisor, Data Clerk Job Summary: The Director is responsible for using sound professional judgment and best practices to supervise staff to ensure quality service is provided to clients and that the programs follow all policies, procedures and contract requirements. Essential Functions: 1. Manage program contract, budget and operations and ensure compliance with appropriate laws, regulations, contracts, corporate policies and budget requirements.2. Provide guidance and leadership to staff with multiple programs to emphasize the importance of the program achieving high standards of quality, internally and through public and private sector partnerships.3. Prepare presentations, training and facilitate groups that promote programs within the community.4. Work with other organizations in the community to foster collaborations for outreach opportunities as well as building partnerships.5. Remain informed and educated on contract requirements and ensure that any contract changes are quickly enforced within the program.6. Responsible for interviewing candidates, hiring staff with Regional Director input,1. managing staff performance through providing coaching, counseling, creating development plans, providing training, etc. Responsible for providing corrective action if applicable up to possible termination of employees if necessary, complying with applicable laws, regulations, Agency Personnel Policies and Procedure7. Maintain an internal policy and procedures manual of the organizational structure and each program function based upon State licensing requirements, individual program/grant policies and procedures, and the agency’s internal policies and procedures. Maintenance of the procedure manual will be updated as needed.8. Ensure all personnel hired have the required education, license and experience to be an affective member of the program team.9. Maintain organizational management structure which promotes best practices, facilitates optimum delivery of services.10. Follow agency hiring procedures, submit recommendations to the Regional Director for approval.11.
