Job Description Based: TringWorking Pattern: 9-day fortnight with every other Friday offUltra I&C's Communications business is recruiting for a full-time Wire Person to join the team at our first-class facility in Tring.As Prototype Wire Person, you will be working within a small team to produce high quality satellite communications equipment to required standards and timescales.Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain BPSS security clearance.Key Responsibilities:Electro-Mechanical Assembly.Building sub-assemblies and complete systems to drawings and build procedures within Ultra Communications.Continuously monitor product quality during build to improve upon production performance targets.Panel wiringCabling assembly and crimpingRack WiringPCB AssemblyAssembly and re-work of componentsWiring test boxesSoldering, Through Hole, Surface mount componentsManage security of information as defined in the Information Security PolicyRequired Skillset & Experience:Experience of electrical /mechanical assembly and wiring, including prototype wiring.You take pride in attention to detail, maintain high standards and can work with minimal supervision.Ability to read Electrical / Mechanical drawings and work accurately to procedures.Creative thinker and eager learnerAbility to obtain and maintain appropriate security clearance.#LI-DC1#LI-ONSITE#ICNoticeDue to the nature of the programs we deliver for our customers, candidates may need to obtain the relevant security clearance or handle export-controlled material as defined by the role's requirements.At Ultra I&C, we are proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
