We are hiring a Quality Supervisor to join our Quality team. This position reports to the Quality Director of Asia and takes Away further by taking responsibility for executing Away’s QA/QC vision across suppliers - overseeing inspections, testing and quality reporting, supporting new product development, driving corrective actions with suppliers, and ensuring consistent product quality and efficiency across regions.
WHAT YOU’LL DO AS THE QUALITY SUPERVISOR
- You’ll help execute the Away vision for QA/QC management with Asia and US based teams, focusing on quality reportingConduct Inspection on incoming materials, semi-finished goods, finished goods at supplier factories.
- You’ll assist factory Incoming Material QC person(s) to inspect material from sub-contractor and report to Away QC Supervisor promptly if mass or critical defects are found
- You’ll inspect semi-finished goods or randomly inspect assembly station(s) in the production line, reminding production line manager promptly if any defective part has been found
- You’ll execute the Final Quality Control process, randomly sampling among the finished cartons for inspection based on AQL standard sampling plan
- You’ll record inspection data and summarize instances of non-conforming products per standard operation procedure
- You’ll ensure the factory does not ship out the quarantined defect product or assembly with defect parts
- You’ll assist factory QC to proceed with each testing protocol, collecting the accurate test data and generating test reports.
