Our 115,000 colleagues serve people in more than 160 countries.     JOB DESCRIPTION:Position SummaryThe R&D Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and closing Software  and Hardware projects on time, within budget, and within scope. This role involves coordinating cross-functional teams, managing resources, mitigating risks, and ensuring stakeholders are informed and aligned throughout the project lifecycle.Key ResponsibilitiesDefine project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholdersDevelop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgetsLead cross-functional teams to successfully deliver project outcomesMonitor progress, track milestones, and adjust plans as neededIdentify risks and implement mitigation strategiesManage project resources effectively, including personnel and budgetCommunicate project status, updates, and risks to stakeholders and leadershipEnsure alignment with organizational goals, quality standards, and best practicesFacilitate meetings, maintain documentation, and ensure project governanceDrive continuous improvement through lessons learned and process optimizationRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree in SW Engineering/Electrical Engineering or a related fieldMinimum 4+ years of project management experience (varies by level) with SW or HW project managementProven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyStrong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExperience with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Asana, Smartsheet)Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid)Preferred QualificationsProject Management Professional (PMP), Agile certificationExperience in Medical Device industry, with SW project management experienceStrong stakeholder management and negotiation skillsExperience with budgeting and financial trackingKey CompetenciesCommunicationAttention to detailAdaptability and resilienceSelf StarterLeadership and team collaborationStrategic thinking and decision-makingTime management and prioritizationRisk managementWork EnvironmentTypically operates in an office settingMay require occasional travel depending on project needsFast-paced, deadline-driven environmentSuccess MetricsOn-time and on-budget project deliveryStakeholder satisfactionQuality of deliverablesEffective risk mitigationTeam performance and engagement     The base pay for this position is $99,300.00 – $198,700.00In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.     JOB FAMILY:Product Development     DIVISION:AVD Vascul...
