They will support all functions of the Recon department in processing returned tools. They will Receive material, Refurbish Tools, ship of the material to the distribution organization and all tasks necessary to support those tasks.Duties and ResponsibilitiesReceive packages, open boxes and remove packing material from the receiving areaCharge, test, sort, clean, and pack Batteries and Chargers for refurbishment or recyclingSort, inspect, clean, process, pack and stack tools of various sizes for refurbishment or disposalSort and stock parts, manuals, and accessories for toolsCross train throughout the department to be able to work on various refurbishing lines and tasks as assigned, creating a One Team MentalityAlways Work with Safety in mind, wearing proper PPE and reporting any issues to Team Lead or other department leadershipPractice 5S to keep work areas clean during and at end of shiftOther duties as assignedEducation and Experience RequirementsPrefer High School education or 2-3 years of experience working in a warehouse environmentPossessing effective communication skills, reading/writing, and both oral and written communication are requiredBasic computer skillsPhysical DemandsStanding/Walking for extended periods of timeRepetitive motionFrequent bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling of parts and containersFrequent lifting up to 50lbs – team lifts over 50lbsAble to work in various temperature conditionsNote *** The physical and weight-lifting demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
