We’re looking for a teammate who is an innate people person, loves helping others, and has a knack for tenacious problem solving. This is an in office role, supporting our clinic in Starbase, TX. Our clinic is open Monday through Friday from 8am-4pm CT with occasional evenings until 8pm CT. Here’s what you’ll do: Triage & Assessment: Evaluate acutely ill patients in-person or via phone. Take vital signs, record health histories, and update Electronic Medical Records (EMR). Patient Education: Teach patients how to manage chronic conditions (like diabetes or high blood pressure). Explain medications, treatments, and lifestyle changes. Care Coordination: Review patient data to make sure routine check-ups, cancer screenings, and preventive tests are completed on time. Handle prior authorizations and coordinate referrals. Clinic Procedures: Assist doctors with exams and in-office procedures, perform phlebotomy, administer vaccines, and give injections. Leveraging both your intrapersonal relationship skills as well as technical clinical skills, you are most fulfilled when you are improving the lives of your patients and bettering your community.
