Reliability, Maintainability & System Health Systems Engineer (Experienced or Lead)Company:The Boeing CompanyBoeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is seeking Lead Reliability, Maintainability & System Health Systems Engineers (Level 4) to support the Systems Engineering Integration & Test (SEIT) Team in Berkeley, MO.The successful candidate is a self-starter with the ability to plan, design, develop, and verify a balanced lifecycle system solution is achieved within a collaborative environment. Within this collaborative environment the selected candidate will be tasked with performing critical work in the Reliability, Maintainability, and Systems Health discipline. The candidate may also provide systems engineering support to the areas of affordability, human systems integration, survivability, vulnerability, susceptibility, regulatory, certification, product assurance, and system effectiveness.Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Experienced or Lead Level System Engineers.Position ResponsibilitiesApplies an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to lead activities to plan, design, develop and verify highly-complex lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions.Leads others to evaluate customer/operational needs to define system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters and assure compatibility of all physical, functional and programLeads analyses to optimize total system of systems and/or system architecture. Leads analyses for reliability, maintainability, and systems health to ensure mission success.Leads, develops designs and conducts research that results in new requirements management methodologies or result in unique approaches that mitigate assessment/review findings.Creates and implements strategic approaches for program and business area decisions.Travel may be required up to 10% of the time; domestically and/or internationally depending on business needs.This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.  An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (including manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science4+ years related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experiencePreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)Level 4: 7+ years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience Active Secret ClearanceExperience with Model-Based Systems Engineering tools such as Cameo or similarExperience supporting the full systems engineering lifecycle, including requirements development, architecture, integration, verification, validation and sustainmentExperience working ...
