Contemporary policy issues relating to information and communication systems and institutions worldwide. The course examines how the interests of various actors and their differing abilities to advance these interests influence the intended and unintended outcomes of information and communications policy, and provides an opportunity to use the tools and techniques of policy analysis.

Requirements
Ph.D. or master's degree in information studies (preferred) or a related field. Specialization or teaching experience in the subject matter. Professional experience in a field related to the course (preferred), such as policy analysis and communications policy. Satisfactory teaching evaluations.
