Research Technician - Cell Screening

We're looking for a driven, detail-oriented technician with a passion for cell biology and immunology to join our dynamic Cell Screening team. In this role, you'll play a hands-on part in advancing our discovery pipeline - contributing to single-cell screening, assay development, and validation that directly shapes the programs driving our science forward. How you might spend your days High-throughput screening of single cells using proprietary, cutting-edge technology Contributing to project execution including assay development, validation, data analysis, and reporting Collaborating with team members to meet project deliverables and timelines Preparing and presenting data at team meetings Performing reagent quality control and conducting fluorescence-based immunoassays, using flow cytometry and/or microscopy Maintaining mammalian cell cultures, including stable cell line upkeep, transient transfections, and freezing/thawing Maintaining cell stocks and freezer inventories using our Electronic Lab Notebook Preparing cell isolates from primary sources Preparing, labelling and aliquoting immunization and lab reagents Organizing, ordering, and managing inventory and reagents in collaboration with the lab operations team Growing your technical skill set, including expertise in cell screening procedures We’d love to hear from you if You’re available for an interview on August 13, 2026 You enjoy bench work and have hands-on experience in a wet lab environment, in addition to a BSc in Cell Biology, Immunology, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, Health Sciences, or another relevant field You have a strong background in cell and tissue culture using sterile techniques, experience with flow cytometry and/or microscopy is an advantage You have excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with impeccable attention to detail You work in a self-directed manner, take initiative, and are willing to work flexible hours You thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced work environment with multiple competing prioritiesYou're a fast learner, team player, and creative problem solver who takes pride in your work What we offer AbCellera’s hiring range for this role is CAD $51,000 - $64,000 annually, commensurate with your education and job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
