Employment Status:Full timeShift:Weekends Only (United States of America)Facility:2017 S Jefferson St - RoanokeRequisition Number:R162137 RN Team Lead - Adult Mental Health - Roanoke - Weekend Nights (Open) How You’ll Help Transform Healthcare:This position is located at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital (CRMH) Rehab in Roanoke, VA working full time, weekend nights, Friday, Saturday, & Sunday 7pm-7am. The RN Team Lead provides clinical leadership and oversight for patient care delivery while supporting staff development, operational efficiency, and quality outcomes. This role serves as a clinical resource, mentor, and team leader to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care across assigned areas. The RN Team LeadServes as a team leader, clinical resource, mentor, and role model for staff.Provides direct patient care and coordinates care delivery for patients of all ages.Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care to achieve optimal outcomes.Leads and mobilizes the care team to support positive patient outcomes.Facilitates effective communication and resolves operational issues within the work group.Supports staff development through coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback.Participates in performance evaluations and contributes to development planning.Assists with staffing, scheduling, and workload distribution to ensure adequate coverage.Collaborates with leadership on fiscal management, resource allocation, and budget considerations.Participates in performance improvement, patient satisfaction, and quality initiatives.Conducts team meetings and promotes a positive, accountable work environment.Ensures compliance with regulatory, licensure, and accreditation standards.Communicates effectively with patients, families, staff, and interdisciplinary teams.Maintains confidentiality and exercises sound judgment in handling sensitive information.Supports organizational initiatives and adapts to changing priorities.Responds to staffing needs, including supporting other Carilion facilities as required. What We Require:Education: Graduate of a State Board of Nursing approved program required.Experience: Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience including demonstrated clinical and leadership expertise required.Licensure, Certification, and/or Registration: Current Registered Nurse license in the Commonwealth of Virginia required. For Behavioral Health roles, de-escalation training must be completed within the required timeframe. For OB/GYN roles, EFM NCC certification required.Life Support: AHA BLS-HCP required. ACLS, PALS, or NRP may be required based on assigned work area.Other Minimum Qualifications: Demonstrated leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
