RPA(Automations) Software Engineer
Designs, builds, and deploys robotic process automation solutions by translating business requirements into scalable automated workflows, ensuring high‑quality, reliable bots that improve efficiency across Netsmart’s processes and teams.ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, configure, and test solutions to automate processes, activities, and tasks using robotic process automation (RPA).Gather process requirements from key stakeholders, assess automation feasibility, and identify automation opportunities.Provide technical direction on design considerations, including performance, scalability, availability, and maintainability.Deploy robotic process automation software and components, such as bots, orchestrators, development tools, and integrations.Anticipate, identify, track, and resolve technical issues.Perform quality checks, code review, and testing in development and production environments.Collaborate on cross-functional teams to deliver projects by assigned deadlines.QualificationsRequiredBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field or relevant certifications in RPA technologiesAt least 1 year UiPath or another RPA tool or software engineering work experienceBasic programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or C#Demonstrated Microsoft and VBA skillsFamiliarity with database concepts and SQLUnderstanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologiesUnderstanding of process analysis and optimization techniquesStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalAbility to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teamsAttention to detail and commitment to qualityPreferredProficiency in at least one RPA tool (e.g., UiPath, Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere)UiPath Certified Professional Automation Developer Associate Certification.Internships or projects demonstrating RPA implementationKnowledge of regulatory compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA) and their impact on RPA implementationsNetsmart is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace and is an affirmative action employer, providing equal employment and advancement opportunities to all individuals.
