GENERAL DESCRIPTION- Responsible for processing security transfer instructions of various products such as equities, fixed income, funds, structured products, derivatives and physical precious metals from clients covering Singapore and Hong Kong booking centers- Opening of custody accounts with various custodian banks and maintenance of static data in the core banking system- Ensure daily activities are conducted professionally and accurately while ensuring that internal guidelines and policies are followedYOUR CHALLENGEKEY FEATURES AND ACCOUNTABILITIESClient Management (internal & external)Coordinates with internal departments and external sub custodians, custodians, agents & counterparties to ensure that daily work meets organizational standardsMonitor the queries received and provide responses or holding replies within a reasonable timeframe.Business ManagementInput of transfer instructions received from clients into the core banking system. Ensure it meets all the pre-trade validation checksSubmits request for security master creation if the instrument is not available in the system.Maintenance of counterparty SSI in the core banking systemEnsures that the instructions sent to the custodians are in good order, Swift exceptions queues are cleared dailyEnsures timely payment of Stamp Duty / Tax and Fees, if applicable for any transfersParticipate in User-Acceptance-Testing when requiredRegulatory Responsibilities &/OR Risk ManagementDemonstration of appropriate values and behaviours including but not limited to standards on honesty and integrity, due care and diligence, fair dealing (treating customers fairly), management of conflicts of interest, competence and continuous development, adequate risk management, and compliance with applicable laws and regulationsWork with the relevant teams in fulfilment of regulatory requirementsYOUR PROFILESKILLS REQUIREMENTSPersonal and SocialGood communication skills and able to interact with people at various levelsHigh level of integrity, commitment and drive to excel in the roleDemonstrates initiative, passion, independence and is an effective team-playerAble to work in a fast-paced environment and handle tight deadlinesExcellent interpersonal skills with service-oriented mindsetProfessional and TechnicalDiploma/Degree and minimum of 2+ years of relevant experience in banking or related discipline.Good knowledge and understanding of the various securities products (i.e. equities, fixed income instruments, funds, structured products, derivatives etc.)Candidate with relevant experience in Security Transfer and SWIFT (MT5xx) knowledge will be an advantageProficiency in MS Office softwareWe are looking forward to receiving your full job application through our onli...
