Your Opportunity as the Corporate Security OfficerProvide top tier customer service and security to our corporate employees and guests at our campus in Orrville. Become a steward of our Corporate Security Vision and Mission while covering designated posts, monitoring alarms, and ensuring the safety of Smucker facilities.Location: Orrville, OHWork Arrangements: Onsite, Back Half Nights (Wed 12A – 6A / Thur – Fri 6A – 6P)In this role you will: Operate as the back half days shift Security Officer to ensure proper surveillance of our corporate campusApply JMS policies and procedures to security tasks and ensure the proper adherence to facility guidelinesCoordinate emergency response with EMS/LE and responds to emergency situations using the appropriate escalation of force level up to and including armed responseConduct patrols at designated posts inside and outside of our corporate building and other facilities on campusBe available to provide First Aid/CPR when neededMonitors alarms and video surveillance systemsDocument and retain incident reportsWhat we are looking for: Minimum Requirements:High School diploma or equivalentExperience in security, EMS, military, or law enforcementClean driving record over the past 5 years is required (no moving violations or accidents at fault)Ability to lift up to 50 poundsAbility to walk and stand for extended periodsMust be willing to work shifts and flexible schedules, including weekends, evenings, and holidaysStrong written and verbal communication skillsMust be able to obtain a Concealed Carry Weapons permitAdditional skills and experiences that we think would make someone successful in this role:Experience using control/alarm monitoring and video surveillance applications#INDSA#LI-KK1The Right Place for You We are bold, kind, strive to do the right thing, we play to win, and we believe in a strong community that thrives together.
