As a Security Specialist – Digital Fraud at Ubisoft Montréal, you will help protect our players and platforms by detecting, understanding, and reducing digital fraud across our ecosystem. Working with large-scale datasets and modern detection tools, you will partner with teams across Data, Engineering, Product, and Production to strengthen fraud prevention capabilities and respond to emerging threats. Your work will contribute directly to a secure and trusted player experience.What you’ll doExplore and interpret transactional and behavioral data to identify fraud patterns, anomalies, and emerging risksBuild and maintain dashboards and reports using tools such as Splunk, Azure Data Explorer, and Databricks to monitor fraud trends and key performance indicatorsInvestigate and respond to digital fraud threats, including credential stuffing, account takeover, fake account creation, marketplace abuse, and security bypass attemptsDesign and deploy detection rules, alerts, and use cases within fraud monitoring platformsPartner with Data, Engineering, and Product teams to improve fraud detection systems, risk engines, and workflowsPerform root cause analysis on fraud incidents and contribute to long-term prevention strategiesIdentify gaps in detection capabilities and support continuous improvement of fraud prevention frameworksSupport fraud-related incident response and post-incident reviewsShare insights and recommendations with stakeholders as a trusted subject matter resource What you bring to the teamExperience in digital fraud, threat hunting, or fraud risk managementHands-on experience with fraud detection systems, risk engines, or security information and event management platformsStrong working knowledge of SQL and Python for data analysis, automation, and investigationsExperience working with large-scale datasets and turning analysis into actionable insightsExperience developing detection logic, scoring approaches, or model-driven rulesSolid understanding of common fraud and abuse patterns, such as account takeover and automated attacksStrong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detailAbility to explain complex findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences What to send our wayYour CV highlighting relevant skills and experiencesExamples of projects, dashboards, investigations, or analytical work relevant to fraud or security
