About the role
You’ll join the Developer Experience team as a Senior AI Enablement Engineer, helping shape how ClearBank adopts, governs and measures AI across software engineering at scale. This role is for someone who can operate beyond individual tool usage and help define the platform, practices and controls needed for responsible AI-enabled engineering.
You will work across multiple engineering teams to turn AI experimentation into scalable engineering capability. That means enabling adoption, creating practical standards, supporting AI platform thinking, and ensuring ClearBank can understand the real impact of AI on productivity, release cadence, quality and developer experience.
You will be
- Leading the development of responsible AI enablement practices across multiple engineering teams.
- Helping define ClearBank’s approach to AI governance, auditability, observability, guardrails and engineering best practice.
- Shaping how AI-assisted development, copilots, LLM-enabled workflows and agentic tooling are adopted in real delivery environments.
- Partnering with Engineering, Security, Model Risk and wider stakeholders to balance innovation with appropriate control.
- Helping establish meaningful measures of AI effectiveness, moving beyond anecdotal productivity claims.
- Acting as a senior multiplier: coaching, influencing and enabling others while remaining hands-on where needed.
