Powered by technical innovation and continuous improvement, we bring together the scale & trust of classifieds with the marketplace’s convenience & reach. 🌱 Our mission is to enable a connected trade ecosystem, making 2nd-hand the norm through smart use of technology.   The Challenge 🧩 As a Senior Analytics Engineer at Wallapop, your challenge will be to play a leadership role in designing, developing, and maintaining a complete data infrastructure and make it easily accessible to the entire domain team looking for synergies cross Wallapop to amplify the impact of the data. What You Will Do 👇 Lead the design and implementation of data infrastructure, including integrating and consolidating data from multiple sources for advanced analytics. Evaluate and select external analytics tools, platforms, and technologies to support advanced analytics capabilities. Create visually compelling and interactive dashboards and reports to provide data-driven insights to stakeholders. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify their data needs and drive scalable data-driven solutions.  Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and leadership to junior team members.  Document analytics processes and establish clear practices for analytics tools to ensure long-term team scalability and easy onboarding. What We’re Looking For 🔎 Proficiency in Python and SQL, combined with a solid understanding of big data technologies. Strong coding skills and the ability to write maintainable, performant code. Proven expertise with ETL processes, data integration, and building reliable data pipelines. Strong knowledge of cloud-based environments, ideally AWS. Experience developing interactive dashboards and data insights using Business Intelligence tools (such as Looker or Tableau). Advanced knowledge of data analytics concepts, techniques, and methodologies. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address complex data issues. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to lead and work effectively with cross functional teams and stakeholders. Ability to take ownership of projects from start to finish, manage timelines effectively, and deliver high-quality work. Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to provide technical guidance and mentorship.
