TITLE:                  Senior Associate, Investments (9770332)   EMPLOYER:       Roivant Sciences, Inc.   LOCATION:         New York, NY (A hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with company policies.)   DUTIES:               Gather, analyze, and summarize data on emerging drugs and therapies across biopharma. Build the scientific/clinical rationale and investment case for novel drug development ideas and acquisition targets by providing data to support deal negotiations, suggesting innovative clinical strategies, and identifying underappreciated biological targets overlooked by both investors and the biotech/pharma industry. Collaborate closely with Roivant’s R&D team—including non-clinical, clinical, Chemistry, Manufacturing, and Controls (CMC), and global regulatory (US FDA, EU EMA, Japan PMDA, China NMPA)—to interpret data from assets across the biotech value chain. Analyze clinical trial data, assess methodologies and procedures, and present findings, predictions, and recommendations for further analyses. Build comprehensive clinical efficacy and safety databases to evaluate assets. Research the mechanisms of novel drugs by reviewing clinical trials, literature, and medical research, compiling relevant data for analysis. Use modeling techniques and analytical algorithms to predict drug success, assess safety risks, and interpret advanced statistical methods to understand drug profiles. Model pharmacokinetic/pharmacodynamic (PK/PD) profiles to optimize dosing strategies. Forecast therapeutic revenue through commercial launch modeling and revenue projections. Estimate development operating expenditures by understanding clinical trial design, statistical powering, endpoints, and related CMC constraints and costs. Review supply agreements and assess manufacturing risks across small molecules, large molecules, and inhaled products, including scale-up from early-stage to commercial supply. Perform analyses to evaluate asset return profiles to inform key decisionmakers. Maintain relationships with biopharma companies and attend medical and business development conferences to stay current on research, clinical data, and to engage with potential partners. Source investment leads through private/public financing screens, emergent clinical data, and networking; maintain internal lead-tracking databases.   REQTS:                 Must have a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Human Evolutionary Biology, Biology, Chemistry, Bioengineering, or a related field plus three (3) years of buy-side experience in the biotech and pharma investing industry in the positio...
