Visit gomotive.com to learn more.About the Role:  We are looking for a highly autonomous Senior Global Commodity Manager to own the commercial strategy and supply assurance for onboard electricals including ICs, discrete, and connectors. In this role, you will be the commercial architect of our product roadmap, driving supply resilience and aggressive cost leadership. You will serve as the primary interface between Engineering, Finance, our contract manufacturers and the external supply base, ensuring we select and secure technologies that are high-performance, commercially viable, and scalable. You will operate with a high degree of independence, championing supply continuity, driving Landed Cost accuracy, and building executive-level supplier relationships to manage critical escalations. What You’ll Do:  Develop and execute sourcing strategies for board electricals, aligning with Motive’s business objectives Manage global supplier relationships, including supplier selection, negotiations, and performance management Collaborate with engineering and product teams to influence design decisions for cost, lead time and manufacturability Ensure supply continuity by proactively managing risks and identifying alternative sourcing opportunities Analyze market and industry trends to develop comprehensive plans to identify and  mitigate supply chain risks Drive cost optimization through should-cost models, benchmarking, and strategic negotiations to achieve competitive pricing Minimum Requirements 7+ years of experiences in sourcing and supply chain management, with a focus on board electricals for consumer electronics, automotive or related industries Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, engineering, business administration, or a related field Demonstrated negotiation skills and proven experience in contract management Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and drive strategic decisions Experience with global supplier management and working in cross-functional teams Strong communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels and resolve conflicts Preferred Requirements Demonstrated success in driving supplier innovation and achieving signi...
