Rio Tinto has established PACE to support the business in many areas where it has previously sought external management consulting expertise.We are looking for a Senior PACE Consultant to join our established team (PACE). This is a great opportunity for a team player with consulting experience to work on projects that accelerate the delivery of lasting value to Rio Tinto by applying high-quality problem-solving capabilities, strong communication skills and business acumen to Rio Tinto’s highest value challenges and opportunities.Reporting to the GM PACE Consulting Lead, and working in a challenging environment within the PACE team (across APAC), you will:Structure complex business challenges and identify practical, high impact solutions within small high performing teams (2-3).Drive discrete workstreams by gathering and analysing information, formulating and testing hypotheses, and developing practical recommendations.Partner closely with clients to ensure strong collaboration and build lasting trusted relationships with the business.Communicate findings through executive-level presentations and implement recommendations in collaboration with extended team across PACE and the business, ensuring insights translate into tangible business outcomes.Strengthen the PACE culture by modelling care and inclusion, curiosity, courage, ownership, and a commitment to excellence.About youTo be successfully considered for this role, you will have:Tertiary qualified in Business, Engineering or relevant field.3 to 5 years in a management consulting firm or a strategy and/or business improvement role.Experience in conducting analysis, ensuring accurate and updated data from varying sources and interpreting complex results to find key opportunities.Dynamic and adaptable individual who can operate in ambiguous environments.Sound stakeholder engagement and project management abilities.What we offerBe recognised for your contribution, your thinking and your hard work, and go home knowing you’ve helped the world progress.A work environment where safety is always the number one priorityA competitive salary package with annual cash incentive awards for eligible employeesCareer development & education assistance to further your ambitionsAccess top tier family-friendly health and medical programs and pensio...
