THE ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES We are looking for a Senior Engineer who can lead change and mentor engineers within their team ensuring best-in-class engineering. As a Senior Electrical Design Engineer with EDC, you will be expected to have a thorough understanding of the theoretical and practical application of their engineering discipline, and a strong understanding of the other disciplines offered by the company while also leading and managing the full Electrical Design on projects of all sizes. Deliver Electrical Engineering design packages across all project stages, ensuring outputs are accurate, coordinated, and aligned with project requirements and relevant standards. Undertake Electrical design work as required, contributing technical input from concept through to construction. Take responsibility for the delivery of defined engineering packages, ensuring quality, adherence to programme, and coordination with other disciplines. Coordinate design activities within project teams, working closely with multidisciplinary colleagues to support overall project delivery. Apply sound engineering judgement to resolve technical challenges of moderate complexity within assigned scope. Identify and communicate technical risks and issues to the project lead, supporting their resolution. Maintain quality control of own work and contribute to consistency across project outputs. Provide guidance and day-to-day support to junior engineers, assisting in their technical development.
