WHY BOX NEEDS YOU Box is looking for an experienced Employment Attorney who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a broad range of responsibilities.  This is an exciting opportunity to join Box supporting our global workforce.  This role will report to the Senior Team Director, Global Employment Law and Employee Relations and will join a talented and collaborative legal team responsible for providing legal advice and guidance on a wide range of employee matters.  This position will partner with Box’s People and Community teams providing guidance on day-to-day management of candidates, employees, employee disputes, internal investigations and policy review and creation.  Box’s Legal Department is geographically dispersed, and this position will be located preferably in our Redwood City office.  WHAT YOU'LL DO  Provide strategic advice and counsel to the People & Communities team on a broad range of employment issues, including recruitment, hiring, corrective actions, terminations, benefits, complex leaves of absence and accommodations issues, compensation, contingent workers, HR policies and practices, and performance management, among others; Provide pragmatic advice to the business on employment obligations primarily focused in the United States but the ability to flex and advise on other geographic areas Provide legal advice on various employee-related AI initiatives In coordination with the People & Communities team, assist with the creation of policies, standards and business procedures designed to foster compliance with various employment laws and regulations (including health and safety compliance); Draft and review various types of employment offers, agreements, policies, e...
