About the Team The Clumio Cloud Engineering team designs, builds, and operates the cloud infrastructure and foundational services that power Clumio’s SaaS platform. The team focuses on delivering secure, reliable, and scalable cloud environments that support a mission-critical data protection service. In this context, infrastructure reliability, operational efficiency, and security are essential requirements rather than optional capabilities. The team builds cloud-native infrastructure and automation that enable services to scale dynamically with workload demands. This includes systems for provisioning, deployment, observability, and incident response that support large-scale, distributed workloads. By emphasizing automation and standardized operational practices, Cloud Engineering reduces complexity and enables engineering teams to operate services efficiently at scale. Cloud Engineering operates a mature production environment on AWS and works closely with platform and application teams to support the ongoing evolution of Clumio’s architecture.
