About the Role

Synergy Pet Group is a private-equity-backed pet health platform operating a portfolio of businesses across the pet health sector. We are actively acquiring, integrating acquisitions, and preparing for our next round of institutional fundraising.

This is a deep, hands-on role that is roughly half FP&A and half finance systems. On the finance side, we need someone who fundamentally understands how the business makes money and can build the analysis that leadership, lenders, and investors rely on. On the systems side, we need someone who can write their own reports off the data warehouse and other data sets, help stand up a finance systems environment that is still coming together, and partner with engineering as a peer to integrate it. You will be as comfortable working hands-on in the data, in SQL or comparable tools, as you are presenting a recommendation to the CFO, the sponsor, and the board.

You will report directly to the CFO as part of a small FP&A team, elevating the function with more advanced modeling, analytical, and systems capability.
