The role manages a small client portfolio and provides advice across a range of employment matters within the Australasian operating environments.The role will liaise with operational managers to implement local human resource initiatives that are appropriate for their business needs, but consistent with the organisation's overall human resource strategy.Key responsibilitiesBuild strong relationships with leaders and employees, acting as a trusted HR advisor and first point of contact for HR matters.Provide expert advice and coaching on employee relations, performance management, workplace issues, employment legislation, awards, agreements, policies and WHS matters.Support leaders in workforce management, recruitment, talent development, investigations, disciplinary processes, leave, remuneration and employment arrangements.Deliver HR administration and coordination, including onboarding, offboarding, HR documentation, recruitment support and payroll/change processes.Maintain HR systems and reporting, analyse workforce data, prepare insights, and contribute to HR initiatives, projects and continuous improvement activities. What we’re looking forEssentialRelevant tertiary qualifications in HR (or related discipline) and experience in a generalist HR role supporting diverse stakeholder groups.Sound knowledge and practical experience interpreting employment legislation, Fair Work requirements, modern awards, enterprise agreements and employment relations processes.Strong stakeholder management, customer service and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and support geographically dispersed clients.Experience in HR administration, recruitment, onboarding and offboarding, with a high level of accuracy, organisation and attention to detail.Strong analytical and reporting capability, including experience with HR data, workforce reporting and preparing business insights....
