Regeneron is currently seeking a Senior Instrumentation & Controls (I&C) Engineer to join our Site Engineering team.This position offers the opportunity to contribute to a fast-growing, science-driven organization making a meaningful difference to patients worldwide.Where:Location: Raheen, Limerick.What you’ll do:Acting as the primary I&C representative within multidisciplinary project teams for projects from concept development through design, construction, commissioning, qualification and handoverCoordinating with Process, Mechanical, Electrical, Maintenance, Operations and Quality groupsProviding technical leadership for instrumentation and control systems across manufacturing, utility and facility infrastructure projectsSupporting troubleshooting and root cause investigations associated with instrumentation and control system performance issuesSpecifying and evaluating field instrumentation including pressure, temperature, flow, level, load cells, pH, conductivity, TOC, UV and analytical instrumentationLeading design reviews and approving instrumentation philosophies, P&IDs, instrument indexes, I/O lists, control narratives, loop drawings and vendor packagesParticipating in HAZOPs, risk assessments, constructability reviews and design verification activitiesReviewing and approving instrumentation wiring diagrams, panel designs and control architectureEstablishing, maintaining and continuously improving site instrumentation and controls engineering standards and specificationsProviding technical direction to engineering consultants, system integrators and construction contractorsLeading technical assessments for equipment obsolescence, instrument upgrades and functional equivalency evaluationsSupporting FAT, SAT, commissioning, qualification and startup activities for new systems and modificationsThe environment and physical rhythms of this role:You have excellent technical and analytical skillsProblem-solving and continuous improvement skillsYou possess strong communication and collaboration skillsYou are adaptable and can work in a fast-paced, regulated environmentLet’s find out if we’re a fit:Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering or related discipline.Minimum 8 years of engineering experience with increasing responsibility in instrumentation, controls and automation systems.Demonstrated experience leading I&C engineering activities for projects within pharmaceutical, biotechnology or other highly regulated industries.Strong knowledge of process instrumentation, industrial control systems and GMP regulated manufacturing environments.Thrive today.
