As we continue to expand in Europe, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Commercial Counsel to join our legal team and play a key role in supporting our growth across the EU. Who You'll Work WithThe Senior Commercial Counsel will serve as a trusted legal partner to Arista's business teams throughout Europe and globally, providing expert guidance on legal and compliance issues. This role requires a commercially minded lawyer with deep experience in structuring and negotiating complex agreements and partnering with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, international environment.What You'll DoDraft, review, and negotiate a wide variety of commercial agreements, including customer sales contracts, channel partner agreements, procurement agreements, and technology licensing arrangements.Advise business teams on EU and member-state regulatory requirements, GDPR compliance, export controls, and anti-bribery/anti-corruption programs.Identify and assess legal risks, propose practical solutions, and manage external counsel on disputes and specialized matters.Collaborate with senior executives across the company as a strategic partner, developing internal processes and templates to enhance efficiency and compliance awareness. **Required Qualifications**Law degree and qualification to practice law in at least one EU jurisdiction10+ years of legal experience, including training at a reputable international law firm and in-house counsel experience with a multinational corporationFluency in English with excellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong track record advising on commercial transactions, international contracting, and cross-border legal issuesDemonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate across jurisdictions and functions**Preferred Qualifications**Fluency in German (written and spoken) with experience negotiating agreements under German lawIndustry background in technology, telecommunications, or innovation-driven sectors with strong intellectual property expertise#SaaS/commercial contract negotiation #GDPR/data privacy #intellectual property #(IP) licensing #risk management #cross-functional collaboration #AI governance #cloud services #cybersecurity #regulatory compliance#LI-EO1
