Who You Are Reporting to the Director of Clinical FP&A, the Senior Manager / Associate Director – Clinical FP&A will play a key role in supporting the governance and refinement of clinical trial expense management at BridgeBio. This individual will serve as an analytical resource and cross-functional partner, helping to contextualize clinical study expenses against operational performance metrics, identify and interpret drivers of financial variances, and build a stronger foundation for clinical financial analysis across our portfolio. Day-to-day, this person will work closely with Clinical Operations study managers, Accounting, and other cross-functional partners to bring operational intelligence to financial data — and bring financial perspective to operational discussions. BridgeBio is a dynamic company with a maturing pipeline and evolving processes; this role is well-suited for a curious, collaborative individual who is energized by building upon and improving processes in an environment where no two studies are exactly alike. Responsibilities Clinical Study Financial Intelligence: Analyze clinical trial expense variances against study operational metrics (e.g., enrollment rates, site activations, protocol amendments, vendor activity) to determine whether variances are temporary in nature or reflect permanent, structural changes to the cost profile of a study Partner with Clinical Operations study managers to understand study plan pivots, enrollment challenges, vendor performance issues, and other factors driving financial deviations; synthesize this context into clear assessments for the Director and senior leadership Monitor clinical trial performance metrics and proactively flag situations where operational developments are likely to have near-term or long-term financial implications Support preparation of variance commentary and study-level financial summar...
