At Maersk, we believe in the power of diversity, collaboration, and continuous learning and we work hard to ensure that the people in our organisation reflect and understand the customers we exist to serve.  With over 100,000 employees across 130 countries, we work together to shape the future of global trade and logistics.  Join us as we develop future vessel concepts and apply new technologies across a global fleet.About the role Based at our headquarters in the heart of Copenhagen, you'll contribute to the technologies that power one of the world's largest container fleets and support the future of safe, efficient, and sustainable shipping. As our next Senior Marine Electrical Engineer, you'll play a key role in delivering major vessel projects across Maersk's global fleet, including newbuildings, retrofits, upgrades, and technology development initiatives. Acting as a technical authority within your area of expertise, you'll help ensure solutions are delivered safely, compliantly, and in line with Maersk standards while driving innovation and continuous improvement across vessel design and operational performance.  Key Responsibilities Own the electrical and automation scope for assigned projects from concept development and specification through design, implementation and handover.  Develop and maintain technical specifications, standards and internal requirements.  Lead design reviews, plan approval activities and technical clarifications with shipyards, suppliers, engineering partners and internal stakeholders.  Review and approve electrical system designs, load balance calculations, protection concepts, automation systems and equipment selections.  Coordinate with Classification Societies and Flag Administrations to secure approvals and compliance.  Support project execution through inspections, FATs, commissioning, sea trials and operational follow-up as relevant.  Resolve technical issues and drive decisions to maintain schedule, quality, performance and cost targets.  Capture lessons learned and ensure continuous improvement across projects and vessel classes.  Support evaluation, development and implementation of new technologies related to electrification, automation, digitalisation, energy management and decarbonisation.  Contribute to future vessel concepts and fleet development by identifying opportunities, challenging established solutions and bringing new ideas into vessel design and operation   What We're Looking For We expect our next team member to bring a strong technical foundation, combined with the confidence to challenge shipyards, suppliers, an...
