To learn more about fairlife and its complete line of products, please visit fairlife.com.job purpose: The Senior Mechanical Engineer continuously evaluates the plant machines for reliability and effectiveness.  In fulfilling this role, the Senior Mechanical Engineer works closely with engineering team department members, maintenance, and operations. They provide day-to-day technical support on all aspects of plant machine center operations. The Senior Mechanical Engineer works with maintenance planning and operations to plan and schedule all preventative and predictive maintenance for machines as needed. They will act as plant liaison for new system start up and commissioning by all outside controls contractors and system integrators to ensure proper transfer of documented PLC program changes, manuals, and adequate training on the installation/changes that have been completed.    responsibilities:   Perform design of experiments (DOE) to redesign systems creating chronic issues and develop sustainable solutions.  Maintain and update all documentation for machine centers, as needed (Schematics, manuals, PI&D).  Source parts through schematics, spare parts manual, and parts attendant.  Make recommendations on spare parts for internal inventory.  Create work orders and PM’s through D365 and add all parts required for the scope of work to be performed.  Help coordinate and facilitate the scheduling of overhauls.   Drive process improvements and present to the Engineering Department.  Schedule downtime repairs with packaging, maintenance, and project manager/supervisors.  Work together with Operations and utilize all resources to eliminate downtime.  Demonstrate leadership skills by teaching technicians with how to perform technician PM’s  Participates in plant safety, health, and environmental programs.   Drive improvements through the CI processes and playbook that Goodyear has established.   Closely collaborate with the manufacturing and engineering team to clearly define engineering acceptance standards and specifications based on the voice of the customer.  Validate and characterize new proces...
