YOUR ROLEAs a Senior Member of Technical Staff in our team, you will architect and implement a Graphics driver for Iris Xe and Mali GPUs on safety critical VxWorks Kernel. This is a unique opportunity to develop GPU drivers organically from scratch on VxWorks. This is a high impact and high visibility role requiring the ideal candidate to work with Intel, ARM and SoC vendors to review technical specifications and implement it for VxWorks. The GPU driver for VxWorks is targeted for edge markets such as Aerospace & Defense which requires the driver to be certified. The design of the GPU driver must have minimal footprint (code base) to reduce certification costs. This requires the candidate to be super-efficient in designing the driver and conservative in working with open-source libraries such as DRM.HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE You will work closely with developers responsible for display drivers and user-space graphics stacks, including Vulkan and OpenGL, who will rely on the GPU access APIs (IOCTLs) you design, maintain, and support. As part of a cross-functional organization, you will also collaborate with Product Owners and engineering teams to translate customer requirements into GPU driver features and enhancements while ensuring seamless integration across the software stack. In your daily job you will:Design and implement a minimal GPU driver for VxWorks Operating System.Import and adapt Linux GPU drivers to VxWorks.
